Day 9: Rest

This morning I woke up when my alarm went of at 7:00 and I felt different. I felt rested. After thinking about it for a second, I realized that I had slept through the night. For the first time in a week and a half, I got a good night’s sleep. It was so wonderful.

The pain associated with erections has (obviously) reduced to a point where it isn’t even enough to wake me from my sleep. I’m so happy about this. The stitches still haven’t fallen out, but I guess they must be loose or something. I’m taking the advice of one of my readers to try and speed that bit up: last night before bed I had a long, hot shower and soaked the stitches in water with epsom salts. It certainly felt good, so I did it again this morning in my shower. Hopefully this will promote healing.

Since the pain and irritation have decreased quite a bit, I think I am feeling up to getting back into the gym. I don’t want to push anything, though, so I am going to wait until the weekend and then I’ll probably go on a reduced schedule compared to my pre-circ habits. I don’t want to fuck up the healing process, after all!

Other than that, there’s not much to report today. As usual, picture are below:

Top view of my circumcised penis. Swelling is pretty much the same as yesterday and stitches are much more visible.

Side view of my circumcised penis. Stitches look like they are ready to pop out.

Bottom view of my circumcised penis. One of the stitches here has come out. Swelling remains and is still quite uneven.

I hadn’t visit your blog in a while. I’m glad for you that you finally got things taken care of. Looking at the before pictures I can see how severe the situation was. Take it easy, don’t push the gym thing too much yet! Wishing for a quick healing and you being able to get on with your normal life.

Hey! Congrats man. It’s looking great. I also wouldn’t push it at all. Easy at the gym and I wouldn’t beat off for a while even though it might be hard not to. I hope you love how things are in the end.
