6 Months

I’ve had a (somewhat surprising) increase in activity lately, so I thought I’d give a quick update. It’s been half a year since my surgery! That’s insane. Time flies when you’re living life.

A couple of months ago, I entered into a relationship, so I’ve been having fairly regular sex. It’s been absolutely great. I mean, I had to figure out condoms at first, but that was relatively easy. Years of sex ed prepared me well. I haven’t had any problems with my junk in that regard. However, every now and then, the scar tissue does get irritated and slightly itchy. I think this i because it is still healing a bit and it’s never a big enough problem to have to call up the urologist.

I can’t say enough how happy I am with my decision. I feel like I finally have a normal sex life. I’m not afraid to expose myself in public showers, etc. etc. There has literally not been a single long-term downside to getting a circumcision. If you are currently struggling with the decision because of phimosis, paraphimosis, or some other health issue, I would strongly urge you to take the plunge and call a urologist to have it done. The sooner you get cut, the sooner you can get to normal!

After the jump, there are some pictures and physical descriptions of what’s been going on with my junk…

Nothing major has changed recently, but over the past few months my glans size at full erection increased quite a bit. I’ve had to switch to magnum condoms for comfort because of the growth. There has been practically no darkening of the inner foreskin yet. To be honest, I don’t think there will be, just based on how my skin is on other parts of my body. I thought I wouldn’t be alright with that, but it turns out I am. It’s sort of minor and my partners have actually really liked the contrast, for whatever reason. My frenulum remains super sensitive, which is quite nice. I still have a lumpy vein in the shaft, but it has steadily decreased in size. I think maybe it’s here to stay at this point. Again, it’s not something anyone has commented on yet, so I’m unconcerned with it.

Overall, I’m quite proud of the way my dick looks and I finally understand the obsession most men have with their junk. It’s nice to like the way your genitals look.

If you guys have questions, feel free to keep them coming! I try to respond to every comment as quickly as possible. Remember: I’m not a medical professional. If you’ve got a major concern, you should definitely speak to your family doctor or urologist immediately! The best I can do is dispense advice and tell you my own story.

Question, why during the first stages your penis inner skin was short and now it seems larger¿

    • Hey!

Yes, the inner foreskin seems to have loosened over time. At first it was painfully tight, but then it stretched to accommodate full erections. I think that masturbation and sex have stretched it further since then. It is quite loose now–to the point where I can pull it all the way over my glans when I’m soft. Foreskin is known to be very stretchy, so I’m not surprised that I’ve seen this happen.

hey dude im 22 and just had my adult circumcision 10days ago the stitches adequate itchy and snag on every kind of undewear i wear. ….the snag and catch with causes slight bleeding and itchyness not to mention the stacked are poking the head out of my peNissan which is making me walk weird……what should k do and what did you do in this sorta situation?

    • Hi Alec!

That sounds awful! I personally found that tight-fitting underwear were best. I wore my jock strap at first then boxer-briefs after they became comfortable. The jock strap was nice because it kept my junk from moving around too much when I walked. You might also try the complete opposite by going commando. Maybe the extra room will prevent the possibility of snags happening. For now, make sure you’re cleaning your stitches regularly if they are bleeding often. A salt soak might be in order! Good luck.

I had not been to your blog in a while. I was looking at the pictures and noticed that your urologist respected the structure of your frenulum. This is actually uncommon, and I feel happy for you that your frenulum is intact. I feel some envy now.
